The shop is in Mt. Ida, and most of the work comes from town and the roads around it in Montgomery County. Repairs, tows and tires for the people who live here.
The US-270 corridor
US-270 runs through Mt. Ida between Hot Springs and Mena. Breakdowns on that stretch are a regular part of the wrecker work, and a passing vehicle with a tire going down is a regular part of the tire work.
Lake Ouachita and the Ouachita Mountains
Travelers heading to the lake or into the mountains for the weekend come through Mt. Ida. A flat, a dead battery or a breakdown on the access roads is where a tow usually starts.
